Will Phillips is a composer, arranger, and trumpeter based in Lexington, Kentucky whose music blends jazz, funk, and soul with a strong melodic focus. In addition to releasing original music as an artist, Phillips has written and produced music for film, television, and video games, bringing a wide range of stylistic influences to his work. His 2026 album What’s Another Day? is inspired in part by the soulful vocal arranging of Aretha Franklin and Phillips’ love of groove-driven jazz and R&B, the record features eight original, horn-forward tracks built around memorable melodies and tight ensemble playing.
